"Back to work!!!" - BTMC Meeting. Thursday, July 23, 2009 @ The MAC

In the United States, it is the transitional period between the summer and fall seasons. People are preparing to return to work and school after weeks of long breaks and vacation.

In Singapore, it is almost the end of the Great Singapore Sale 2009. That indicates that the holiday season is almost over.

In Indonesia, well…many parents are glad to have their kids returning to school. So that also means…holiday season is over. Back to school! Back to work!

In British Toastmasters Club, we will be back in session for the last club meeting of the month. This is another opportunity for all of us to improve our public speaking and leadership skills, to be inspired, to be entertained, to have fun, and to get to know each other better. Are you ready?

"According to most studies, people's number one fear is public speaking. Number two is death. Death is number two. Does that sound right? This means to the average person, if you go to a funeral, you're better off in the casket than doing the eulogy" (Jerry Seinfeld).

Come on, Guys! Let us not be that "average person."

See you all in a couple more days then! Cheers!
