TM Fetty Kartini who led the Table Topic Session brought more of the World Cup excitement in the air to all of audiences even guests who were seemed to enjoy the session. Instead of the Table Topic Master, Everyone in the meeting who got to choose someone who should stand before the audience and speaking on their feet this time and they could also picked one question or statement out of four in the cue cards. A bit different from the usual one.
One of a guest expressed her opinion if Indonesia was chosen as the host of World Cup 2010 and as the Sport ministry of Indonesia, she would built the infrastructure to support the event and would also promoted Indonesia’s culture and uniqueness to the world.
Prepared Speech Session this evening presented several different level of speakers and this was the one what made this meeting a moment to remember. Loves the variety !
First Speech was delivered by TM Muchammad Zulkarnain his BM 8 – Visual Aids with the title “ GOAL’. TM Zul brought us to a deeper meaning of the word “ GOAL “ and inspired us with several stories about people who achieved their goal and fulfill their dreams.
“Goal is not all about soccer but it’s also about an achievement! ”
Second Speech was delivered by CC CL Samuel Win with his Advance Manual 2 – Interpreting Poetry with the title “IF”. He dazzled us with this poetry from Rudyard Kipling which gave a great basis for contemplating one’s own meaning of life’s challenges or difficulties and one’s outlook on life. An inspiring poetry to live your life !
“If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too”
The prepared speech session concluded with an Advance Manual Speech from CC CL Lola Defin which delivered Story Telling – The Folk Tale with a title : “ All is Well in Love and War.” The Fairy tale of Joko Dolog statue enlightened us so much, It wasn’t only about a folktale of a statue but a message of morality beneath the story. This was about how an honesty played a role in the life of a man. The remarkable way of how Lola delivered the story telling made us visualized all of the details in our mind, she captured the audience attention with her lines and this made her the best prepared speaker this evening.
