Congratulations to CTM CL Steve Bowen!!!

GOOD NEWS BTMC-ers... (and you who is reading this blog and not yet a Toastmaster or a BTMC member ;-P)

Our fellow Toastmasters, CTM CL Steve Bowen, returned home on Saturday evening, September 12, 2009 after competing at both the Area I-3 Speech Evaluation & Humorous Speech Contests with the titles of "First Place" for the Speech Evaluation Contest and "First Runner-up" for the Humorous Speech Contest. Congratulations, TM Steve! Hip...hip...hooray for BTMC!!! It's great to be able to send another representative from our beloved club to compete at the Division level. Hopefully TM Steve will also be able to reach the moon and represent our Division to the District level this October 2009. Good job, TM Steve! And please make sure you do your best again on the Division level contest. ;-P

That evening we also had two other great, awesome, dedicated BTMC-ers competing in the contests. They are TM Shabrina Mukhlasianti competing in the Humorous Speech contest and TM Muchammad Zulkarnain competing in the Speech Evaluation contest. They did a very good job during the competition. And I am sure by participating in the contest, whether they realize it, both TM Shabrina and TM Zul have stretched their public speaking skills to an even higher level. Therefore....BIG APPLAUSE to both of them and THANK YOU for representing BTMC in the Area level Contest.

The Division Level Humorous Speech & Evaluation Contest will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009. Venue and time will be announced soon. Please come and join us to cheer for our fellow Toastmasters Steve Bowen and of course...to just chill out, meet people, and have a good time. ^_^
